Our first visit to Uganda that didn’t disappoint… My wife and I had our first trip to the beautiful Uganda in July 2023. We booked a 12-day safari with Shon Tours, visited 4 spectacular National parks, and had an incredible time throughout. Shon hosted us in one of the best lodges as we had budgeted. Thanks to our private guide assigned, time management, supplies and transport were perfect. I had been to Rwanda 5 years ago and this time around wanted to visit Uganda too as many people talked about ‘Uganda’. So our group of 6 booked a 14 Days Rwanda and Uganda safari arranged by Shon Tours. This is when we had the best experience ever in Africa!!! From the start of interaction with Shon Team to the end of the safari, the team of the organization as well as those at the places they chose for us to stay, were all helpful and kept giving information that made our experience more enjoyable. We used a 4*4 safari land cruiser that handled all terrain smoothly keeping us comfortable on all roads. Thank you, Shon Tours team! How best can I say this? We had a super incredible wildlife and gorilla safari. We contacted Shon Tours at short notice but their organized and dedicated staff were so helpful and supportive. My family of 4 had a 2.5 week trip in Rwanda and Uganda with Shon Tours. Our first conversation for the reservation was through email with Shon and we later switched to WhatsApp. They were always quick to respond, both by email and WhatsApp. Starting in Entebbe, it went well. We visited Kidepo, Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi in Uganda. Then Gisenyi, Nyungwe and Kigali City in Rwanda. One thing to improve: At the border crossing to Rwanda, we spent about 40 minutes and that was kind of hectic since there was even no clear explanation as to why it took us that long without a prior communication.
